The Re-mapping project addresses the EU challenge to reduce the risk of poverty and social exclusion of young people through improving the quality of education and training. The project focuses on 2 benchmarks of the Horizon 2020 agenda for education: a) reduce early leavers from education and training to less than 10% and b) reduce 15 years old under-achievers in reading, mathematics and science to less than 15%.

Re-mapping is an interdisciplinary project building a transversal conceptual model based on 8 academic disciplines: education, sociology, philosophy, geography, semiotics, anthropology, psychology & urbanism. This inter-disciplinarity allows exploring Early School Leaving (ESL) & school performance in the language of space in order to shake up the conceptual and analytical tools.
